InterVarsity Christian Fellowship - North Florida Area

October 8-10, 2010.  Sonburst is InterVarsity’s annual state-wide student conference in Florida. Through plenary sessions and seminars, students will be challenged in their faith and better equipped to build the kingdom of God on campus. Hundreds of students from around the state will worship, learn, and grow in love for God, God’s word, God’s people of every ethnicity and culture, and God’s purposes in the world.

Each year the theme of Sonburst reflects one of our 4 loves. Based on InterVarsity’s purpose statement, we are trying to grow in love for God, God’s Word, God’s people of every ethnicity and culture, and God’s purposes in the world. This year Myron Crockett will be speaking about growing in love for God’s Word.

Spring Conference 2010 is a chance for college students from around North Florida to get away for a Saturday of renewal, training, and worship. This year we will be exploring the question “What is the gospel?” as well as how we can share it and how we are to apply it to our own lives.

The day will be a combination of worship, teaching, reflection, & elective seminars. There will also be opportunities to gather with those from your school as well as those from other schools. You will hear from InterVarsity staff and leave with a clearer understanding of what the gospel is and it’s transformative effects on our campuses.

Whether just learning what it means to follow Jesus, feeling called to step out in leadership, or ready to become a revolutionary on campus, Chapter Camp offers students a one-of-a-kind opportunity to grow closer to Jesus and to be transformed to serve him. Chapter Camp provides a chance to be together with students from campuses all over the Southeast to worship and rest, learn and play, and make life-altering commitments to God.
